Korean BBQ Tempeh Thins
Baguette or French bread
Mayonnaise
BBQ Sauce
Shredded carrots, pickled
Shredded onions, pickled
Cucumber, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro
Salt & Pepper
Kasuri methi
Oil
Butter for toasting
Instructions
Heat Korean BBQ Tempeh Thins on a pan with 1 tbsp of oil (medium flame) for 90 seconds on each side. Or even more if you like them crispy. Keep aside.
Slice baguette in half lengthwise. Pull out the soft center of the bread, leaving a cavity for the fillings. Lightly toast the baguette for added crunch.
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on each side of the toasted bread. Top with fresh cilantro, pickled carrots, onions, and cucumber slices.
Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Place slices of heated Korean BBQ Tempeh Thins on top of the vegetables.
Drizzle a dash of BBQ sauce, and cover with top half of the baguette.
Cut into two 6-inch sandwiches and enjoy your homemade Tempeh Bánh Mì!
