-

Divide the mixture into 8 equal sizes, shape it into flat round patties.
-
Make a corn flour slurry by mixing water and corn flour.
-
Dip cutlets in the slurry and coat it with a layer of breadcrumbs.
-
Deep/shallow fry in oil or air fry the cutlets.
-
Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
You want your cutlets to pack a punch when it comes to flavour and Tempeh ensures just that. That’s because Tempeh has a neutral taste and is porous in nature. This means it absorbs the flavour of the condiments of the cutlet rather than just coat, like paneer or tofu. ... Plus, Tempeh is firmer, so the Tempeh cutlets hold shape better making it easier to grill or fry the cutlets.
To add this, Tempeh also has a better nutritional profile, boasting of the following benefits
- You get a healthy dose of protein (19g per 100g- 35% RDA)
- Probiotics from the fermentation make it good for the gut
- Low carb and thus perfect for a keto diet
- Low fat profile and no cholesterol make it healthier than paneer
- Hello Tempayy fortifies its Tempeh with Iron
- Really low glycemic index
- Gluten and dairy-free
- Perfect for people with lactose intolerance
